Live in BC/Canada, and oppose the pipelines? But, are you investing in Enbridge/Kinder Morgan etc unknowingly?
I just recently checked my investments/retirement plans – one of the managed plans I had previously invested in included Enbridge stock. I’m happy to say I’m no longer putting any of my money into them.
If your plan/mutual funds//investments allow you the flexibility to check and change your investments, it is worth looking into.
While my action was small, Vancity recently pulled their investments out, the more of us that do this will start to send a message (and it’s a nice feeling knowing I’m not contributing to them financially).
